Now, males and females here, we don’t differentiate them, because it is complicated. So we assume that we have a ratio of 50% males and 50% females. And the females are the ones that lay eggs. In nature, however, they can be told apart, as males have an extra segment, but it would take an enormous amount of time to sex them.
So here, we don’t do it.
