What does the number of spots on ladybirds mean?

Now, the number of spots on the back of ladybirds has nothing to do with age. It indicates the species. We breed the species with two spots, which is Adalia bipunctata. There are ladybirds with 7 spots, there are ladybirds with 14, 21, or 15 spots.

The number of spots determines the species.
