What were the challenges in developing the breeding?

When we found the breeding box that truly matched our needs and the quantity of food and the type of food we were giving to the ladybirds, it greatly improved production. It was a breeding process that came from the laboratory, and industrialising all of that was very complicated. We started from 500,000 larvae at the beginning, and now we have multiplied that by 15, and all of this by improving the quality of production of the aphids and by improving the quantity of food, the moisture that we add to the boxes, because we need to add moisture to the boxes. And all of this has allowed us to now have a team that is fully occupied, but we have a breeding protocol that works very well, that is fully refined.

That is what works well, but it took us years to find out.
